Best Time to Travel to Tanzania Dry Season (June to October): This is the best time for wildlife safaris, with animals gathering around water sources and clear skies offering ideal game viewing conditions. Big Five in Tanzania
Tanzania is one of the best places in the world to see the "Big Five" animals, a term originally coined by big-game hunters to describe the five most difficult animals to hunt on foot. Today, it is used to refer to the five most iconic and sought-after wildlife species on safari:
1.Lion – Known as the "king of the jungle," lions are often spotted in large prides across the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
2.Leopard – Elusive and solitary, leopards are best seen in areas like the Serengeti, often resting in trees during the day.
